Diagnosis

Antennal scrobes join below frontal suture; mesoscutum with raised and rather weak reticulation, midlobe with posterior ¼ with engraved reticulation; scutellum with engraved and very weak reticulation; mesoscutum with midlobe black with metallic bluish-purple tinges, sidelobes golden-greenish, scutellum metallic dark purple; propodeal callus with five setae; femora metallic bluish-green; tibiae dark brown.

Distribution

USA (Arizona, Texas).

Biology

From Lixus perforatus LeConte, L. musculus Say, L. scrobicollis Boheman (Coleoptera: Curculionidae).
